The front brakes are volvo 240 girling 4 pots....

And on the rear i'm working on BMW discsbrakes with Astra gsi calipers
Much better than the stock brakes...And i think they will do a much better job than the bmw 323 e21 brake setup with 2.2 discs...

And did you see my big Bremskraftverstärker und hauptbremszylinder?

welcome in the community of excentrics! I like your vehicles. Me myself I´m also running a Sedan (25S, 4 door) and a Caravan (28E, 3 door). These Rekord C /Commodore A vehicles provide a special kind of mood no other cars and no later Opels can give - to my mind. Go on living with them - I do it since 1982 - it´s same challenging and satisfying.

mit Stahl geflochten Bremsschläuche ....





Hydraulic brakelever, for the rear disc brakes. I'm not using handbrake cables.



Still a lot of work left.
Im planning on making the engine run first....
The brakes must work before the first enginestart.
When that is done i will work on the body of the car. I got some welding left to do on the back of the car (trunk and rear framework)
