Die Hollander mit dem Caravan und Sedan

Hallo an alle, mein Deutsch ist nicht gut, damit ich sprechen Englisch.

I am Dennie and i live in The Netherlands,

These are my Sedan and Caravan.
I got al my work on this site, but it is in dutch.

The sedan is a long time project, my caravan is a daily drive.

My Sedan
















It needed a lot of welding and a lot of new sheetmetal.
I'm still working on it, but it's very time consuming.

This car is getting a 6 cylinder engine, C30NE with a Getrag 240.
Discbrakes on the rear using bmw discs...
I am looking for a good solution for the front brakes.
i will be using a Senator B brakebooster
I don't want to change to a 5 stud axles, i want to use the 4x100 axles.

Msw 15 inch rims, 195 50 15 tires.




My Daily caravan



it has a 2.2 cih engine with a 4 speed aw71 automatic getriebe
it only runs on LPG, no more petrol.
It has 2 seats, and the LPG tank is behind the front seats so i have a big booth for my tools and stuff. Most of the time it is empty

Waar hoort het chassisnummer te staan? ik kan hem zo snel nie vinden..

the number should be in the middle of the air guide plate.Maybe somebodey has changed the complete front without replacement of the chassis-number.

Where do you come from the netherlands ? I'm living next to the border of Venlo & Roermond.....

I copied some text from the dutch opel forum, my topic is there...i found the number allready, it's above the radiator.

I live in Wapenveld, near Zwolle.. The border isn't very far from here.

In holland we call those things "bumperrosetten" i don't know if they are original.
It could be a custom job....just like the headlights.

I just ordered a new radiator for it, an alloy one for a Skyline. Just have to make it fit the car

The front was a bit rotten, so i welded it and made the thing a bit more stiffer.

Just for me one question, may can i get the Numbers of the Adrema Code Plate, the white Plate on your Front. And also the FIN. I´m interested because i wonder where this Unit was built, Rüsselsheim or Antwerpen.



@ Jörg, könnte sein das du das vergessen hast aber Chris hat an El Commodore auch solche Zierstücke. Könnte was mit Export zu tun haben, aber so genau weiß ich das nicht. Gibt auch welche die so ähnlich aussehen für Kadett B.

Jörg, es gab sowas im Zubehör damals(als ich noch jung war). Mein Vater hatte fast genau solche "Hörnchen" an seinem Prinz 4 und es war kein "L"...

Sachen gibts, die selbst uns "Alte" zum Erstaunen bringen...

Stimmt, Metto, hab mal nachgesehen, aber Chris hatte nicht ganz so große Hörnchen (bzw. ihr Auto )
Wird dann wohl so sein, wie Uli meint, daß es sowas im Zubehör gab.
Hab noch einen `60er Jahre "Filmer Autoteile" Katalog. Muß ich mal forschen...

I will make you a picture of that plate. I would like to know it too.
The car is originaly dutch, no import.
It had the old handbrake under the dash...and pop-out windows in the rear and front.


Today i got my new alloy radiator, thing is huge! And thick!
