My car has arrived and i have started work on the electrical parts !

My dashboard is quite modified with switches, lamps and so on - this must be fixed

Does anyone have some pictures of an original 1970 GS dashboard, including text that describes what is for what ?

Anyone done a dashboard bulb change to LEDs ?

Es gibt mittlerweile für alle Birnen LED's in allen möglichen Farben.
Du musst nur auf das Abstrahlverhalten achten - ob sie geradeaus oder rundum leuchtet.
Für den Blinker kannst Du keine LED nehmen. Da wechselt der Stromfluss zwischen links und rechts blinken. LED's funktionieren aber nur in eine Richtung.

I guess "rundum leuchtet" is the best to use ?

I have seen LED relays for blinker lights some where, so i think you can rebuild it some how !

Anyeway - does anyone have a Schaltplan(electrical diagram) in pdf for a 1970 commodore a coupe GS(normal gear box) ?

Danke - but any one have one for a commodore - or are they 100% the same ?

I have totally stripped the dashboard this evening - and yes there are a lot of loose ends, but im getting there !

Some questions on the electricals, numbers on from this list(http://www.cokebottle-design.de/technik ... -nr-02.jpg)

1. Where is the "heckscheiben schalter" normally placed ? And its light ?
I think i have the light, little blue one near the door ? But no switch OR relay ! Where to find(no 50 + 24) ?

2. "Nebelschlussleuchte" i have one, but not original + a button drilled into dash for it . Where can i find original "Nebelschlussleuchteschalter mit kontrolleuchte" and where is it placed in the car(no 72) ?

3. "Nebelscheinwerfer", again i have them but no switch(dummy mounted in dashboard) ? So where to find relay, switch and control light(no 25 + 35) ?

4. Where is the "warnblinkshalter" original placed ?

But i dont know if the switsch for Heckscheibenheizung is original.
