Commodore Liebe aus Dänemark :)

Hi all

As i have signed the contract for a Commodore A, coupe, GS, 1970 - i guess its time for a short introduction...

My name is Brian, born 1980, and i live in Denmark, Jutland, near the town Horsens. My proffesion is electrician, and later on electrical engineer(high voltage, control systems)...
3 kids, a girlfriend and and old house - with a large garage Also the happy owner of a Skoda Superb Combi DSG(2012) and a Berlingo(2007) !!!

This will be my first full restore of a car, but i have been working with cars since late 90s - and all in all i guess my hands are put on the right way when it comes to craftmanship

More to come when the car arrives from Germany !

car seems to be as good basic for restauration. Car was sold by Klaus Britsch right ? Car was two or three times offered in ebay . I asked myself why nobody will buy the car because the relation between what you pay and what you get is fair.

Never mind good luck and happyness with your new "Family member".

Price was something around 5800 Euros ???

Yes i bought from Klaus, and it has really been a pleasure dealing with him - so informative...

Yes we ended up around 5800, including many parts

And yes, to me it seams to be a decent price compared to what else is being sold on ebay.de and mobile.de.

Well still need to recieve the car, so we will see

Depends on my plans for the car... For now im thinking:

1. Get it fixed for some license plates, and out rolling.
2. Live and learn about the car through out the summer, find its areas to be fixed and so on...
3. Tear it apart for a complete restore in the autum this year...

But who knows, maybe i will start directly on the complete restore

i know, i`m late. But i`m not so often online (i have no time because of repairing a commo a gs *smile* ). you won`t believe: i looked about your commo longer than 3 weeks...feel glad, that i have no more place or garages...... you`r welcome. congratulations for the nice car. it seems, that there are some things to do before ready. but that`s it, that`s the hobby...by the way...i got my car from Klaus too.
