So, with the engine being disassembled and head going for inspection, the engine builder will rotate valves.
We cannot get to agree about the lifters needing milling or not. Engine builder says the rotated valves will seat a little more inside on the head so the distance to the rockers will be shorter and so some kind of milling on the valves or on the lifters has to be done.... I don't agree, based on the procedure described by Opel for valve adjustment. I think the way it is adjusted no modification should be needed on the valves or lifters...
What are your thoughts?
