Electrical madness
Closest to the end, I'm finding electrical issues that I was not counting on...
The engine compartment was disassembled when I wasn't around, so didn't get the chance to make pictures before....
So.... I'll try to resume several issues in one post because I don't want to be annoying
First
The 3 connection socket in the picture is for what?
Second
I've the dash button for the fog lights (lower ones rectangular shaped) but after all there is no wiring or socket to connect to the button... Only the whipper blades socket... Is there a harness that I can buy? If so, where does it connect? Fuse box?
Third
I've the additional round lights ( like the sprint). They are operated with a switch inside cabin but I can't find any relay in the engine bay for them. Anyone with the same setting that can show me how is the installation?
Fourth
I've a pair of MIXO horns, original horn relay from MIXO is there, but I don't understand how it connects to the steering wheel horn button. It's through the main harness?

Re: Electrical madness
Also....

Re: Electrical madness
Many things you say makes sense. I've the bridge in the horn fuse box relay. I've the front near battery relay with fuse just like yours. Problem is the instalation before restauration was a mess as you can see. If possible please explain wire by wire the relay connections and where it goes on the main harness...the Brain hat geschrieben: ↑03.01.2024, 16:25 Der graue Stecker auf dem letzten Bild wird an die linke Seitenwand geschraubt und da kommen zwei Weiß-Schwarze Kabel dran die für die Rückfahrlampen sind und das dritte ist die Motorraum Beleuchtung. And I've a cable with 2 wires to connect to the Grey plug but they are black and yellow.
Don't understand where do I connect the MIXO horn relay. Do you have these horns?

Re: Electrical madness
Addicionaly, what connects in the fog light switch. Think that instructions says only one cable must be connected to the N contact ( the one just above the white bulb socket in the picture). Am I correct?
Rekord 1900 Luxe Coupé 67
Re: Electrical madness
Quite possible with the contact called N. It has voltage when the ignition is on and the toggle switch is actuated. Then the lamp, which is actually only present from Fgstnr, also lights up. There is then one contact left on the regular ignition plus. So the Lamp needs Ground and get Voltage from the Switch.
I can't help you with the rest, Buck may have a wiring diagram in English.

"And I've a cable with 2 wires to connect to the Grey plug but they are black and yellow."
Colours doesn´t matter so much.
The Switch for the Reversing light is on the left Side of the Gear Box.
When you bridge the White-Black Wires in the grey Plug the Lamps are on and nothing more make the switch.

Re: Electrical madness
Correct. The cable attached to the light socket is ground. So N ( can see engraved in the switch is the only contact used? the other 2 above in the switch don´t have anything connected?. Back of the Switsch without Foglamps.
I don´t know exactly but its possible they used the + Kontakt for the Electric windshield washer system which was a subject to surcharge.
But the other one between i don´t know. How is this called?
