Hi guys.
As I mentioned in the other post, finally I got the car with me.
First situation.. Floor pans... All four need to go... Completely rusted out.
I'll be posting along the way...
Let's begin....
Be careful Man, when the Plans are gone its possible that most of the Frames are gone too. And there are no Parts too rebuilt them. Frames maybe, but Original Frames priceless. Without Friends here in Germany, thanks again Mister Buck, theres nothing you can get without pants down.
Although Opel is more or less General Motors Europe, no Spare Parts in a List or Store that are not ridiculous bad on Body Work.
Strip the Body complete, drink a Beer or two and look what you see. Bodywork is lame and maybe it took years with squillions of hours.
My Opinion, i wish you success.

He´s going for the lift in a few days and we´ll see
OTR sells floor pans in the site. I don´t know if there´s a diference between sedan and coupé. I sent mails to them but they keep getting rejected. Can´t contact them and I don´t know any other place that sells them. Only a donor car perhaps is the best shot.
The rear part of your car body looks original and good. It is extraordinary that the floor pans are rusted through. This only happens if there has been water in the footwell for a long time or the car has been parked in a damp meadow! Use a screwdriver to test which areas have rusted through. Take lots of pictures and post them. This is the only way we can judge which parts of the body you need!
The heater matrix was leaking all this years. When I turned it on to put in the trailer, water started to fall in the passenger footwell....
If the rest is good, I´ll be sending it to Soda blasting to remove all that horible paint job

hopefully there will still be something left of the bodywork
What about the front - especially the lamp pots?
There are also repair panels for this, but if you are unlucky, you will have to replace the entire front.

Front is pretty sólid. No doubts there
Im trying to find where should be the original chassis number engraving in the body. There are several possibilities like passenger side wheel arch. Front cross member in front of radiator, firewall. Many years ago when painted they lost track of it and engrave it in the passenger side, but I would like to find the original one

...sounds goog....
Chassis Numer: normally in the centre of the front mask, where the radiator is attached.
