DashHandbrake, we call it Stockhandbremse was changed in 1969, your unit is a lot earlierer. Popout, i translate this in Ausstellfenster on 2Door Sedan from the first til the last unit.
Real Dutch means your Fin sounds like 9XXXXXX, thats the first answer, your unit was build i guess up to latest in the middle of ´68.

On my registration papers it says 06-10-1966
I will make a picture of that tag as soon as possible.

The Fin ist more interesting. First Unit build in Antwerpen, its not sure that those Infos are correct, was a 2 Door Sedan with usual Equipment and with the Fin 9000095, that was round about in August 1966.

Got lucky at the opel-dealer....2 brand new ones
This original one fits like a glove.
Small problem with the pulley, it tight on the cranck pulley. Need to spin some metal off now.
Next thing on the list is some light headwork.

1137xxxxx
The first two numbers are the Modelcode. Code 11 means 2 Door Sedan with Normal Equipment.
There are a few Codes more, 12 means Rekord Coupe, 13 means Commodore Coupe and so on....
The Fin is the next seven Numbers. OPEL starts the Production of the Rekord C with the FIN 3752012, this was a Unit with Modelcode 18, that means a Two Door Sedan with "L" ( Luxury ) Equitment.
The first ever build Unit with Modelcode 11 was 113752031, i guess all the Units where build at the same day. Up from this you can imagine how early your unit was build. But at least, this Unit was build in Rüsselsheim.
Also i can tell you something from the Adremacodes.
11266 means
11- 2 Door Sedan 2- with Lefthandsteering Export 6- Engine 19S 6- Manuell 4Gearbox with Floorshifter
BB- means Roof an Body same Colour, B is normal a Colour we call Beige, on your FIN Plate, there must be a Number like L-442 or something. This is the Colourcode.
445 ist the Code for the Interiour, its not sure but i guess the Color ist Red and its faux leather.
465 there is nothing i can say to this. May be we can the meaning imagine with your car. Some people speak this number means Air Condition. Maybe also the numbers changed during this time.
623 Tyres 6.40 S 13
695 Theres a lot of meanings, some call it ships protection, other swells call it cooling system permanent filling ( frost protection ) and also others call it willing commitment fee. Frost Protection was able for me to read on an Orderlist from a unit that was ordered 1971, from the other Infos i don´t know anything.
741 is also not clear, maybe this is for the Targetland because if there are different regulations of light, mirrors ore something like this.

Almost done with the engine.
Did a lot of headwork, porting/polishing and let the machinist do some work on the valves.
Hope this will make some good horsepower/torque at the end.
Exhaust manifolds are done also
The combustionchamber and exhaustports got polished
I used a sandblaster for the inletports, so they got a ruff wall.
The head got skimmed a good 0,5mm.
Almost ready to install on the rest of the engine.

Vems managment to use on the c30ne engine
need to relocate the radiator...i made a mistake.
My front axle.
the front axle got sandblasted and powdercoated.
I will mount volvo 240 calipers and Prelude brakediscs....The upper control arms needed some work to make the calipers fit.
lower control arms got some extra metal welded to them for some extra strenght
i will place all new bushings...front and rear axle.
My vacation is starting so i will be spending some day's on the car.

Sinds the last update much has been done...
The Caravan has been sold, i bought a house and did not wanted 2 project cars.
The Sedan is still here and i am working hard on it.
I am working on it in the workshop where i work.
The main step is to get the engine running with the VEMS computer and get te brakes to work.
When that is done i will work on the body of the car.
Powdercoated front axle with c30ne+getrag 240 including a cluthkit from Sheffield Perfomance:
All new bushings and new shockabsobers.
Engine built in, v6 dis coil pack and 24V brakebooster/cylinder, The battery will be relocated in the trunk.
Oil pump with longer gears, and steel plate.
After i bought my new house i didn't had a place to work on my car, so i moved it to where i work..
i made a new frontend, the one i made first was too big.
front plate back on:
just for fun i got the sidepanels back on
Got the engine out again, i wanted to make some more room for the transmission and wanted to "hide" my brakelines and fuellines behind the engine.
Exhaustwork.....2.5inch with a Thrush muffler.
Wideband lambdasensor in place
Made a better connection for the exhaust
Hydraulic handbrake
homemade brakelines, volvo 4 pots calipers
I still need to do a lot of work, but it is getting there

Hi Dennie,
welcome in the community of excentrics! I like your vehicles. Me myself I´m also running a Sedan (25S, 4 door) and a Caravan (28E, 3 door). These Rekord C /Commodore A vehicles provide a special kind of mood no other cars and no later Opels can give - to my mind. Go on living with them - I do it since 1982 - it´s same challenging and satisfying.
kind regards
Fritz
